How do I take neovite colostrum? neovite is a powder, best taken with half a pint (300ml) of cold milk, water, soda water, juice (non-acidic, as proteins will curdle) or yoghurt. neovite low lactose is slightly less soluble than neovite. Both products should be stirred or blended to a smooth paste with a little fluid before slowly diluting to full volume. If available, an electric blender will give a very smooth drink. Flavours like vanilla, cinnamon, Ribena or chocolate powder can also be added to make a tasty milkshake. If you have a sweet tooth, add a little honey or sugar.
One even teaspoon (~2ml) is approximately 1 gram. One rounded dessertspoon (~10ml) is approximately 5 grams.
If you are sensitive to lactose or prefer a savoury drink, the symbiotic effect of mixing with live yoghurt (plus a little water or milk) can be very beneficial. The lactobacilli in the live yoghurt can predigest the lactose if kept overnight in the fridge. You can also flavour the yoghurt with a little salt and chopped mint.
Heat should be avoided due to the sensitive nature of neovite. neovite can be made in a batch to last 3 days in the fridge if desired. to the top
How often should I take neovite colostrum? neovite should be taken at least once per day for best results. Ideally, neovite should be taken twice daily - half the amount first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, half an hour before food, and the other half later in the day. If you take neovite later in the day, try to do so at least 2 hours after your previous meal or at least half an hour before your next meal. to the top
Are there any potential side effects from taking neovite? There has been no report or medical evidence of any adverse effect from taking neovite or colostrum at high dosages. A small number of people may experience a change in stool characteristic after a day or so, however this should regulate itself within a week.
neovite contains dairy protein and some lactose (read more) which may affect individuals sensitive to these components. See composition for more information
