Geoff (42 yrs, cyclist): "I haven't had a cold since I started. I have felt things come on and then go again, even some of the pretty vicious bugs that have been going round recently seem to have missed me so far (touch wood)."
Francois (cyclist): "I did not have sore legs after doing interval workouts, so have been stacking more and more training on and subsequently my form has improved" Allan Johnson (13 yr old son is a swimmer): "Prior to Christmas my son was run-down and suffering from repeated colds. He has been taking neovite for 2 months and is a lot better, no colds and a lot more energy." Chris (cycling): "My legs are usually very sore after a hundred mile ride or so but I now feel like I recover better than normal" James (25 yrs, cycling): "I have found that the results from taking neovite have steadily dawned on me rather than giving me an immediate result. I have simply noticed that I don’t get illnesses all the time and feel more consistent from day to day...I could do more training and more consistent training over the winter. I found I wasn't getting 'off days' and annoying little bugs that would curtail my training." Ian (35 yrs, cycling): "I have been using it almost every day for about a month now and to be honest haven't noticed any massive change, but I haven't had a cold either! To be fair though I am taking it at low quantities and will continue to do so as I am aware that I will need to let my system get going over a few months. Then I will probably move onto a higher daily amount. I am however confident that taking it does have benefits, after all it's better than not taking it. One thing I have noticed though, if you take it last thing at night before going to bed, there is a noticeable increase in recovery." Bob (44 yrs, outdoor education instructor): A problem I have experienced on many occasions when increasing my training is illness usually connected with my throat, nasal area or ears causing a general feeling of fatigue (perhaps my immune system isn't cast iron or I was over training, but it does seem to be an area of vulnerability). Since starting neovite I have been training hard on the bike, in the last three weeks this has been up to 13 hours a week (probably when I would have noticed early signs of throat or other problems) and have not suffered any ailments. My recovery has also been better than normal." Neil (31 yrs, cycling, undiagnosed fatigue): " Since 1999 I have been suffering with an inability to recover from exercise and have not raced since early 2000. After a training session my legs have felt sore and weak for up to 14 days. I have had blood tests, seen 'specialists' - none of whom could give me any sort of answer, and have tried everything from herbal remedies to acupuncture. I started taking neovite (low lactose) just over three weeks ago. I am taking 5g twice a day mixed with half soya milk and half water. I have noticed a slight improvement so far and am trying to increase the volume of training slowly." Jonathan (24 yrs, cycling): "I have been taking neovite for nearly six months now and feel that it has made significant improvements to my immune system. Having food allergies to gluten I feel neovite has helped my immune system control any reaction to these allergens, giving me more energy and aiding recovery from training."
Andy (40 yrs, health and fitness professional): "The reason I started taking it was for research purposes and because it was natural. I have noticed a slight increase in muscle tissue but because of a knee injury had not been training regularly when I started taking it. I run 10k and half marathons and will compare my times this year to last year. The biggest difference to me has been an increase in energy levels, I have really noticed a difference and if you really want the truth, my libido has increased also!!!!!." Mike (18yrs, cyclist): "Since taking neovite, I have noticed that I maintain my strength over a repeated bout of strenuous training sessions. It took approximately one month before I began noticing this effect of neovite" Ian (39 yrs, cyclist): "I have been taking neovite for a month now...It took about a week before I noticed any difference, I have noticed that I felt far more awake mid morning when I usually struggle to stifle a yawn or two - I need a lot of sleep! I have now noticed an increase in stamina when I'm riding and don't seem to get tired as quickly which means I can train more effectively. I have also noticed that I don't feel so tired the day after a race which was a problem last season. This may have coincided with the increase in the quality of my training which all competitive cyclists go through as soon as they start the racing season and 'step it up' so to speak so this may be a bit inconclusive. I did quite well on a personal level last year so have been keeping the training more or less the same. I have noticed a general feeling of well-being and have not had a headache since I started taking neovite. I have quite a stressful job and I normally don't go a week without getting one so if it is neovite that is preventing them then it's been worth it just for that." Kenneth (63 yrs, cyclist, recently had a hip replacement and prostate operation): "I am taking neovite to help my recovery and to build up strength as I return to cycling. My wife (59) is also taking it as she was feeling weary after a strenuous winter and now after an accident. We think we are feeling more energetic after our first 6 weeks and are also sleeping better." James (26 yrs, cyclist, IBS): "I'm taking neovite as I've recently started training again after 18 months off with injuries and illness. I have previously suffered quite badly with IBS and have trouble with recovery after hard training sessions. I've tried creatine before, but due to IBS affecting my nutrient uptake I felt if wasn't working that well for me. I've currently been taking ...neovite for just over 2 weeks now. After a week of usage I noticed how much better I felt with less tiredness and aches after training." Mike (cyclist): Mike wanted to decrease his fatigue. He has been taking the lactose-reduced neovite and after a month is feeling some benefits. Mike has toned up his physique even further, though the main effect he has noticed is that he gets extremely hungry at mealtimes though he is not eating any more than usual. Simon (in his 50's, cyclist, rheumatoid arthritis): Simon has had rheumatoid arthritis for 12 yrs. He has been a keen long distance runner and cyclist for the majority of his life. His arthritis started with a bit of pain and lack of flexibility, which has gradually progressed. He can cope with the pain, but the general debilitation was the worst part of it for Simon. Simon had always been blessed with a lot of energy, so it was a real blow to him when he was struggling to simply get through the day. He has been taking neovite now for a couple of months and feels that it has more than kept his symptoms at bay – it has given him his energy back. He noticed positive effects within a week or so - he felt a lot more robust and wasn't ‘running out of steam’. Recently he rode 200miles in 2 days; previously he hadn't been able to ride anywhere near this long without feeling utterly exhausted. He is certain that neovite helped – he hadn’t noticed this step-change with any of the other supplements or changes that he has made to his life style, therefore he firmly believes that this is not psychosomatic.
Victoria (autoimmune disease and muscle recovery). Victoria started taking neovite as she has a back and leg injury as well as an auto-immune disease which affects her muscle tone and mobility. In the last several weeks she has felt a definite difference in her muscle strength, overall energy levels and has an improved appetite.
